The UEFA Europa League is the second most prestigious club football competition in Europe, after the UEFA Champions League.

What to look forward to

After a brief absence, some of the biggest clubs in Europe are back in the Europa League this season, including Arsenal, Manchester United, and AS Roma.

The Europa League is undergoing a format change this season, with the group stage being expanded from 48 to 32 teams. 

In recent years, the competition has produced some of the biggest stars in the game, including Erling Haaland, Jadon Sancho, and Bukayo Saka.
